Introduction
We are vendor agnostic. While we can and would love to sell you a gyrocopter our focus is on training and not selling. We have found too many people just want to sell you a gyrocopter and disregard the necessity for quality training.
Without properly trained pilots; accidents occur, lives are lost, insurance rates skyrocket, public perception of gyrocopters sours, and the gyrocopter community overall suffers. We want to prevent that by providing top notch instruction.
Since we are vendor agnostic we provide training in a number of different platforms giving you the opportunity to experience the subtle and not so subtle differences between manufacturers.
Come visit us and see what quality instruction looks like. You can be sure that by getting your gyrocopter rating through us you will be a much safer and proficient pilot.
Training
Training is our specialty and our primary focus. Our experienced staff is here to make you a competent pilot. Our emphasis is always on safety.
We train to commercial standards to ensure you have the skills you need to fly safely and to pass your check ride with ease.
We can provide you with both flight and ground training. While we prefer you have passed your written exam (if required) prior to starting your training, we will assist you as necessary in accomplishing this important step.
All of our aircraft are second generation gyrocopters that are maintained to the highest standards.
For those interested, we can also provide fixed wing training in an LSA or your own personal aircraft.
Training will be conducted as weather permits. While the weather in Florida is typically very conducive to flying we do have our rainy season, hurricane season, and summer thunderstorms. During periods of inclement weather we will use this time to prepare you for your written exam if required and the oral portion of your check ride.
Staff
Who says we're dumb to be flying gyrocopters? Three of our staff members have Ph.Ds! Our staff has thousands of hours of aviation experience in nearly every type of aircraft. Airship is the only thing missing from our resumes but we are still hoping to add it to the mix.
Location
We are located on the beautiful Treasure Coast of central Florida. We operate out of Sebastian Airport (X26), a non-towered airfield with two paved runways. We have a number of local airports we also operate in and out of providing our students with a wealth of experience related to airport operations. If you like, we can come to you as well.
